Hello! I'm Henry Wood - a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nottingham, graduating with honours. My journey in engineering has been driven by a love for problem-solving and a fascination with turning ideas into tangible realities. With extensive experience in CAD modeling, I specialize in creating intricate parts and assemblies using SolidWorks. My freelance work spans a wide range of projects, from simple components to complex assemblies, tailored to meet the specific needs of my clients. One of my most exciting recent projects was the design and manufacture of an automated chess board controlled by voice commands. This project perfectly merged my engineering skills with my love for chess (in which I'm currently 2100 rated). This innovative chess board stands as a testament to my ability to blend creativity with technical proficiency.
